Japanese stab binding, is a traditional bookbinding technique, pages are sewn together through the side creating visible stitch pattern on the spine

Coptic stitch is a bookbinding technique that creates a distinctive exposed spine, allowing the book to lay flat when opened

Case binding is a bookbinding method where a book block (the pages) are sew and attached to a hard cover (the case) made of cardboard and covered

Wrap binding where the pages are sewn through the spine and provides a decorative feature. Book is able to lay flat and is idea for artist's sketches
